Abstract	This manual describes the procedure for taking ionic conductivity measurements using the Solartron 1260 Frequency Response Analyser at high temperatures at both ambient and high pressures and also at low temperatures using a closed cycle refrigerator (CCR). The high-pressure high-temperature neutron diffraction/conductivity cell has been developed at ISIS for work on the binary silver and copper monohalides to study the relationship between crystal structure and dynamical properties.
