Title
Broad-band N.M.R. spectrometer for dynamic proton-polarization measurements
Contributors
DR Madden (SRC Rutherford Lab.)
Abstract
A wide-band nuclear magnetic resonance (n.m.r.) spectrometer designed for measurements of relative proton-spin polarization in High Energy Physics (HEP) target materials is described. The instrument was originally conceived for use in a target materials research programme involving magnetic polarizing fields of up to 50 Kilograuss, with corresponding n.m.r. frequencies extending to about 220 MHz.
