Title
Small Angle X-ray Scattering data reduction using DAWN workbench
Contributors
I Sikharulidze (Diamond Light Source Ltd, Diamond House, Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Didcot, Oxfordshire OX11 0DE, United Kingdom) (Pr.Au.)
Abstract
This presentation demonstrates use of various components of Data Analysis WorkbeNch (DAWN) [1] for scientific data analysis in Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) data processing. Data reduction workflow includes sector integration procedure for masking and converting original 2D detector images into 1D intensity profiles. Peak fitting and optimisation routines are used in SAXS detector calibration procedure. Experimental and processing data are stored as multi-dimensional datasets in NeXus file format [2]. Data reduction process is parallelised to increase performance on multi-core workstations. The software package is provided for Linux and Windows platforms.
