Title A study of chemisorption of poly(hydrogen methylsiloxane) using neutron reflectometry and small-angle neutron scattering
Contributors
Abstract Neutron reflectivity and small-angle neutron scattering have been used to study the chemisorption of poly(hydrogen methylailoxane), on quartz and porous silica. The results indicate an increase in layer thickness and density near the solid interface upon increasing the grafting reaction temperature. The results are compared qualitatively with adsorption data obtained from FTIR experiments on alumina and with theoretical predictions.
