Abstract	XtreemOS is a European project which aims to develop an open source Grid operating system based on the existing Linux operating system. A key goal of XtreemOS is the native support for Virtual Organisations. In this poster, we present the overall motivations, aims and components of XtreemOS and give an initial view of the support for Virtual Organisations.
