Title Optics Issues for the 4GLS High Current ERL

Abstract 4GLS is a unique 4th-generation light source delivering synchronised pulsed photon output to a suite of user experiments. An energy-recovery linac is proposed to deliver compressed 1.3 GHz, 77 pC bunches to a set of spontaneous-output undulators and to a cavity VUV freeelectron laser. The problems posed by this design and the proposed solutions are discussed in this paper.
