Title A computational study of oscillatory couette flows in thr transition regime with higher order moment method
Abstract Gas flow in a micro-system is often in a non-equilibrium state. In the present paper, three different continuum based models are used to study oscillatory Couette flow in the transition regime. Available direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) data are used to assess the continuum models. It is found that only the 26 moment model can capture the velocity profile in the Knudsen layer in the early transition regime.
