Abstract
This report describes the location of adsorbed xenon atoms in a sample of dehydrated zeolite-1 which had been loaded with xenon. This was done by Rietveld refinement of synchrotron powder diffraction data collectedon this sample. The data were collected on beamline 9.1 of the SERC Daresbury Synchrotron Radiation Source. The powder diffraction data were collected on this sample under three different sets of conditions. These were: vacuum (no xenon); xenon at a partical pressure of 1/3 atmospheres; and xenon at partial pressure of 2/3 atmospheres.
