Title Reduction Effects on the Cu-Spin Correlation in the Electron-Doped T′-Cuprate Pr1.3−xLa0.7CexCuO4+δ (x = 0.10)
Contributors
Abstract In order to investigate reduction effects on the Cu-spin correlation in electron-doped high-Tc T′-cuprates, we have performed muon spin relaxation (μSR) measurements of reduced superconducting single crystals of T′-Pr1.3−xLa0.7CexCuO4+δ (T′-PLCCO) with x = 0.10 obtained by the protect, low-temperature and dynamic annealing. It has been found that a short-range antiferromagnetic order observed in the moderately reduced crystals disappears with the further reduction annealing. However, the Cu-spin correlation has been found to develop at low temperatures in the further reduced crystals with a high Tc value of 27 K. These results suggest the intimate relation between the superconductivity and the developed Cu-spin correlation in the T′-cuprates.
