Title
The use of the magnetic angle charger in electron spectroscopy
Contributors
GC King
Abstract
A new magnetic angle-changing technique is described together with its use in electron spectroscopy. The technique opens up new ranges of angular observation, particularly for scattering in the backward hemisphere. Measurements of elastic and inelastic electron scattering in atoms and molecules using the technique are described together with observations of resonance excitation. New experimental opportunities presented by the technique are also discussed.
